| The Brake shaft was not made to drawing - I put the cranks in towards the centre of the locomotive rather than in line with the brake shoes. This was to avoid the brake rods catching on the axlebox keeps, but with Having assembled it, I think there was probably just enough clearance to do it to drawing (but it's close!!!) | A view of the chassis showing the valve gear, and the brake rods. |
